I am a Norwegian illustrator, pattern designer and author based on the southern coast of Norway.
I work across picture books, illustration and surface pattern design. My work is built from clear shapes, repeated forms and a handmade sensibility. Even when the final result is digital, I want it to keep some evidence of the human hand.
My background is in statistics and risk analysis. That way of thinking still shapes how I work. I pay attention to structure, repetition and how parts fit together.
In February 2026, my first picture book as illustrator, Un pour tous, tous pour un by Raphaël Marcon, was published by Utopique in France.
I am available for illustration projects, picture books and pattern licensing.
You might want to work with me if:
You are looking for illustration that is clear, thoughtful and quietly expressive.
You want pattern design with a handmade feel and a strong sense of form.
You value work that is playful when it needs to be, but never overly sweet or overworked.
If that sounds like a good fit, please get in touch.
