I’m Kristina, a Norwegian illustrator and pattern designer working with simple handmade forms, cut paper, drawn shapes and rhythmic repeats.
My work moves between surface pattern design, children’s illustration and picture book worlds. Always with a handmade and playful sensibility.
My first picture book as illustrator, Un pour tous, tous pour un by Raphaël Marcon, was published by Utopique in France in February 2026.
Pattern licensing & custom collections
My patterns are available for licensing and custom collection development.
Designs can be adapted in scale and colour for production and are suitable for fabric, children’s products, nursery, quilting cotton, paper goods, wallpaper and selected home textiles.
Picture books & characters
I illustrate picture books and develop characters and visual worlds for children.
